History
The Kurt J. Lesker Company was founded in 1954 as a manufacturers' representative for vacuum technology products in Pittsburgh PA, USA. Today, we are an international manufacturer and distributor of vacuum components and deposition systems for research and industrial applications.
We have three manufacturing and assembly/test locations, two in the United States and one in England; warehouses across North America and in England; offices in the United States, Canada, England, Hungary, Germany, and China; and a network of representatives around the world. |

Our mechanical, electrical, and software engineers utilize industry standard software and modeling tools like SolidEdge, AutoCAD, ANSYS and Visual Basic to design your custom vacuum chamber or deposition system. Our state of the art machine shop utilizes the latest in CNC work centers, welding stations, and scheduling tools to tackle any size project while maximizing shop throughput. Our strict cleaning & cutting-edge technology driven inspection techniques ensure both vacuum integrity and customer satisfaction. Four clean assembly areas provide the necessary environment for the assembly and testing of our systems, chambers, and TORUS sputter sources. In addition to our engineering and manufacturing capabilities, we offer on-site system start-up and training to help you get started with your process. |

Vacuum Mart：Our Vacuum Mart offers customers over 14,000 standard in-stock vacuum products for immediate delivery. With our strategic inventory and global distribution centers, we are your supply chain partner for all of your vacuum product needs.

Materials Group：Our Materials Group offers the largest available selection of in-stock pure materials, compounds, and alloys, for deposition processes. Popular products include evaporation materials, sputter targets, and consumables for thermal and e-beam evaporation. We further serve our R&D and production customers with target bonding and scrap precious metal reclaim services.

Process Equipment Division：Our Process Equipment Division specializes in solutions for your deposition processes. We offer several standard PVD and ALD vacuum system platforms and can customize them to suit your process requirements. We manufacture our own TORUS brand of magnetron sputter sources for production and R&D applications. Additionally, we offer deposition sources for thermal, electron-beam, and organic material evaporation and the necessary power supplies, film controllers, and other related process equipment.
